Description
This will go to scraps as soon as we re-do this photoshoot properly.
I have completely botched the lighting... Two SB-800 flash units bounced off large white surfaces. not a bad start, but the result is just way too flat. One should have been set far weaker, i think... and the reflective surfaces should have been smaller... A more one-sided lighting would make her much more three dimensional, would emhasize all the shapes and curves, and would be much more flattering for her cute face ^^
There was no proper photographic backdrop, either - the only one I have is at my parents' place back in Europe. I so need to get one here... and some proper lightstands...
Oh well, errors allow us to learn, so it's not a wasted effort by any means. After getting to know Droo from SuperKawaii Magazine and seeing him work (Nala had a photoshoot with him at Otakuthon) I'm absolutely determine to learn and practice to be at least half as good
I hope my photographic butchery does not in any way diminish 's awesome cosplay. She's got the body and the martial arts SKILL to pull off this role beautifully.
The costume still has flaws and is incomplete - but I'm hoping to fabricate her spiky bracelets before WorldCon
Pathetic photographer: (booo!)
Model:
Street Fighter IV logo (C) Capcom

Wow, SFIV, rzeczywiście odwzorowaliście nawet trójwymiar. Szkoda, że podkład wam się pofałdował. Zastanawiam się, ile czasu Nala musiała stać w pozycji B zanim skończyłeś stroić aparat... >=3
